And people please it's not the Texans who are idiots it`s their government, of whom seek to spread their stupidity on to the next generation. And @DeSheaaaa as stupid as it is, it`s not that dumb enough to go down that road again. We`d lose way too much if we seceded.

I'm from Texas too but this decision disgusts me. For once I`m actually glad people are laughing at our state for this. The government was founded on a philosophy NOT a religion, and what the board has decided was to delete the philosophical reasons and replace them with religious reasons. This has also been reported by AOL and the actions listed on this site matches closely with what they`ve reported on AOL. I swear anyone who is not taught the first amendment does not know a damn thing about what it means being in constituted republic. BTW, this is not the only casualty of this decision. They`ve required teachers to promote Joseph McCarthy`s and HUAC`s "crusade" against communism. HUAC of course being labeled as "the most Un-American thing..." by Harry Truman.
