Actually Hispanic refers to Spain, and Spanish is a language. "Hispanohablantes" is a commonly used Spanish word used to refers to a person or country which speaks Spanish. Unless you are being a purist and you're referring to the fact that Spanish isn`t in fact the language, Castilian is.
