yea bull poo i live about an hour away from yosemite they dont do that any more sadly it looks cool though wish i was around to experience it.

Lowe22, it's not a waterfall. First, there`s no river leading to it, and second, it`s coming from the top of the rock.

This site has original scans of the tourist brochures showing exactly what they did and how they did it.

They stopped doing the Yosemite Firefall more than 40 years ago. Jeff Sullivan, the guy who posted that picture on Flicker claiming it as his own, is a lying sack of $h!+.

It's not a `shop` and it`s got nothing to do with embers/fire.

It`s a waterfall lit by the sunset.
