I agree with the whole security thing being ultra-paranoid, but seriously who is the real idiot here? Someone just tried to blow up a plane with his underpants and the US had info on him previously. How would this look if it was an actual threat and they did nothing? Think about it people, before you start saying poo is useless and unwarranted. Get the mindset of an adult, not a child.

How this man was treated...Heh, still believe in the constitution now?
This incident is taking place in England. The constitution here is an amorphous mess of stuff written over the last 795 years and enforced to varying degrees at different times. Nothing has been clear about it for centuries and the original clearly defined written constitution (Magna Carta, 1215) is ludicrously obsolete in parts and was routinely ignored anyway on the basis that nobody really agreed to it (it was imposed by force, literally at swordpoint).
All that's before you get into the issues of Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the United States of Europe.
