When I was little I had a wrist leash because of my absolute terrible adhd (which we later found out was a gland imbalace.) No matter what my mom tried, she couldn't keep an eye on me cause I was alway amped up. I wasn`t destructive or anything, but I was constantly running everywhere all the time. I can also see them for deaf/mmrd kids. Harder for them to understand boundaries sometimes.
