Aircraft-grade ducked ape.
Four layers: 1) clear polymer UV-resistant plastic backing; 2) aircraft-grade aluminium-foil; 3) usually a high tensile form of mylar or something to bond layer 4 to layer 3; 4) can be either aerospace adhesive or aerospace adhesive impregnated fabric - often carbonfiber or fiberglass.
Used for cracks and skin damage, it makes a great temporary fix. Can keep a wing - or flap in this case - from falling apart.
While the fabric version falls under the definition of Duct Tape, don't call it that in front of an aircraft mechanic - unless you WANT to see where that 7" wide piston can go. . . What has been seen, cannot be unseen. @.@
