The true test of this would be to give them one dollar and have them get food for that day. not spend like 90 dollars and have them eat 90 days on the food they bought. And this is also easy when it's just you. If you have a family this would be almost impossible.

I'd up it to two bucks a day, just so you could buy things to make up for the vitamins and nutrients that you aren`t getting. Then again, they sound like Vegetarians/Vegans, so they`ll already probably be taking vitamin pills to make up for the meat they`re missing. PB helps, but there are still things they won`t be getting in their diet.

I did this experiment. I got lucky though because I found a rice sale at OddLots... Rice really does fill you up. I also ate oatmeal but for lunch I usually had hotdogs for protien. It was nasty, but it worked. (I keept it up for just under a month)
