@DrVenkman In the same way that people are more likely to buy a bit of meat if it says "Made in Britain." People like to buy stuff from their own country.

This is not an attempt to start an argument, I am genuinley curious. Perhaps an American can help me with this. Why is it such a huge selling point that a product is "made in the USA?" Does it matter? Why?
