Right, Alexandra Graham Bell invented the telephone (allegedly) and was British, so thats a load of c*ck for a start. Secondly, the first working submarines were made in the 1600's by a dutch inventor and tested in the Thames. The americans had military subs in the 1800`s so I think they are taking Wells out of context as he did most of his work in the early 20th century. Yet another load of untrue or semi-accurate crud put together by some 13 year old to fool the credulous.
