Try telling that to the cancer-ridden aboriginal communities around Woomera and Maralinga having deformed babies and trying unsuccessfully to sue the Australian and British governments for more than 40 years; I'm sure they`ll be comforted by your news.

True, but there were at least two other cases where a nuke was "used," Project Rulison and Project Rio Blanco. They were tests of a sort, but not to test the nukes (although standard test data was acquired). Rather, they were testing to see if nukes could be used to release natural gas from underground rock formations.
