I just need my phone for calls, texts, some short notes (not necessary though), music (maybe), and perhaps a camera (if you ask, I don't think I`ll say know, but I`m not sure). Why the need for all the fancy-pancy stuff other than that?

I'm with you computron. I mean games, apps and all that poo. Who the drat has all that time for those silly things. I need my phone to ring and send my texts. I cannot believe people sit in line at 4am to get a PHONE? REALLY? Then have to go and buy ANOTHER phone a few months later for the "upgraded" version. You guys are making Steve Jobs richer. It`s a shame...

o cmon a Smartphone like the G1 from google with G3 or without it kicks the iphone so hard that after the kick it would be called ipoo

i dont see any reason to upgrade, i like my 3g just fine, even though i kinda feel like a douche when i use my iphone in public :D
