OK, I literally just sat my Nazi Germany history paper a few hours ago.
Kairobert: Justifying nationalism was not "just how Nazi Germany began." Nazi Germany began because the democratic government before it f***ed pretty much everything up and the Nazis were seen as the only party that could really sort out Germany's problems. And they did in fact sort out the economy brilliantly, so much so that Germany went from one of the weakest country`s in the world (after WW1) to one of the strongest in the space of about 10 years. Other country`s have used similar economic policies as the Nazis in times of crisis. (Amongst other reasons).
To sum up, you don`t know what your talking about.
Also, you seem to have the wrong definition of nationalism. Every country in the world is nationalist in one way or another. Being nationalist means you are proud of and act in the interests of your own country over other countries, which isn`t always a bad thing. But for the Nazis it was.
