LEGALISE! Marijuana has been shown to have a POSSIBLE correlation with psychosis, but there has to be a PREDISPOSITION. Meaning one has to be prone to psychosis as is - marijuana does not ALONE cause it, merely may, and I stress MAY, as the research is yet to be conclusive, cause latent psychosis to emerge.
Ecstasy is a safe drugs. Alcohol is more physically damaging, results in antisocial, aggressive and dangerous behaviour and clouds judgement. Ecstasy has been shown to have NO physiological effects, results in energy, compassion and a sense of connection to others, and the user generally retains clarity.
But since when did the law makers listen to the facts?

Marijuana is not dangerous; stupid people are though. I'm actually smarter when I`m high, people shouldn`t put themselves in situations that are dangerous while they`re under the influence. Marijuana would not alter your vision enough to make you do something really stupid.

Who's the idiot in here that thinks that legalization advocates think it`s okay to DRIVE? Talk about a strawman.
Who`s advocating that? NORML? The Drug Policy Alliance? Who? Nobody, that`s who.
Man, I hate when people use some personal anecdote as a reason to tell others what to do. I know someone who drove drunk...let`s BAN ALCOHOL. I know someone who dropped their lighter and crashed...let`s BAN CIGARETTES!
Driving 120mph while stone cold sober is dangerous enough...lol that the weed did it.

Agentk120, ecstasy is bigged up by the media as a dangerous 'class a` drug that could potentially kill the user. While of course they`re dangers, ecstasy is realistically a very safe drug in it`s purest form.
Essentially cannabis isn`t a particularly dangerous drug. But if we are to be scientifically sensible about things then surely drugs like ecstasy should be legalised first. It is a very safe drug that arguably (psychiatrists and psychologists may argue) saves lives.
It`s funny how many people see cannabis as OK to do because it is recognised as a socially acceptable activity. However drugs such as ecstasy are much safer but socially recognised as being highly dangerous. Aren`t tradition and word of mouth a bitch?
