This statue is at the Einar Jónsson museum in Reykjavík. See ref (and photo) here . He was known for sculpting scenes from folk tales - perhaps this was his inspiration for this sculpture. More info on Einar at Wikipedia. Really, guys, you should have known better. Tombstones normally have at least both birth and death dates.
