It's not a tombstone. It`s a sculpture by Einar Jónsson, an Icelandic sculptor. This statue is at the Einar Jónsson museum in Reykjavík. See ref (and photo) here . He was known for sculpting scenes from folk tales - perhaps this was his inspiration for this sculpture.
