Also the marshalls were crap, especially as it is a German track, so you would expect them to be well drilled and super efficient.
If memory serves me right the race director got a bit of a bollocking after the race finished.

But yeah, i see your point, not likely to freeze up during a race, so you may as well just put water in and forget the old poly-ethylene glycol, so sorry.
