Too violent? They shouldn't have banned it at all :/ People need to be more aware of these things tbh. My ex boyfriend used beat me up, and I thought it was normal and just accepted it until last year. Call me stupid, but if this had been on tv at around that time, i`d have dumped his ass sooner.

"too violent" of a domestic abuse advert?? what, do they think that all or most domestic abuse is less violent?? I'm sorry people, (the advert people) but the pretty little hollywood life you live isnt the same as all others, and it really CAN be that bad. a PSA like this would`ve been a nice wake up call to thousands.

A couple of examples:
i) Woman abused by her girlfriend. Kicks and punches. Victim was 6'1", athletic build. Abuser was a head shorter and far less strong. Victim sheltered by friend. Abuse never reported because it didn`t fit the "man bad, woman good" pattern that feminism has imposed on how DV is treated.
ii) Man abused by his girlfriend. Kicks, punches, weapons, hospitalised 3 times with broken bones, genital injuries, etc. Abuser was a foot shorter than victim, maybe half upper body strength. Victim arrested from hospital because he`d slapped the abuser to shock her enough for him to run out the doorway she was blocking while beating him with a baseball bat. She was completely uninjured (even then, he didn`t use full force), he was hospitalised again (broken arm this time). But he was the one arrested, because he was a man.
The anti-male sexism regarding DV is so extreme and so ubiquitous that facts are difficult to find.
