Never get involved with religious arguments. The side the person is on is always the right side to them and unless they are still young, it's a fact most likly set in stone.

Actually, the prefix A- does not mean opposite or against. It actually means having none or without. Now if someone called themselves an Anti-theist then that would be opposite or against. Atheists are just those who are without belief in a god. Like you are without belief in the Easter Bunny, or Leprachauns, or Zeus or Apollo. I always tell theists that we are all actually atheists, we just happen to believe in one less god than you.
