I remember hearing somewhere that the Nazis did experiments like injecting gasoline straight into the bloodstream. Brought it to mind. Makes me feel disgusted.

"Um, I'm pretty sure they are talking about gas as in gasoline, as in what you put in your car. Even if it was gas as in the state of matter,that `gas` could be heavier than air, thus it would not just float away."
to who ever said this:
If you`re bored one day, take a glass of water and stir it fast enough until you see air bubbles. Then put the glass in the freezer for a day. When you take it out look at all the air (gas) trapped inside the ice. To make a long lecture short, water can dilute 20 cc of air per cubic inch. (or something close)
