this guy does not hate america or capitalism. obviously no economic or political system is perfect, and he is merely pointing out the flaws in america and calling for further progress.if no one ever criticizes the system, it will never change. political cartoonists have played an important role in america for well over 100 years, starting with thomas nast.

Yes, I read the cartoons (not all, but a fair number). Scuzzy, I don't think those show a hate for America, I think they show a hate for the attitudes come people, particularly some people in power, have and the idea that anyone who doesn`t support the government 100% is a traitor or a terrorist. I think the cartoons show a dislike for the lack of compassion, and apparent inability to do anything that doesn`t directly benefit themselves. The fact that a lot of the cartoons deal with particularly American issues are probably just a result of him being American and living there. I don`t know that he hates capitalism, perhaps just that many managers and corporate workers earn far more than their work is actually worth, while others work for hours in tough conditions for almost nothing.
