Scuzzy, its not perplexing, its not irrelivant. The administation has been denighing over and over for the last several months that it ever claimed Iraq was an "immediate threat." Not the phrasing, the justfication. They're just trying to cover their asses over not finding any WMD`s.
I`d like to know why you think I`ve GOT to be kidding myself over not thinking that WMDless, sactions ravaged Iraq posed an immediate threat to anyone.

"I wonder how many thought the same thing back in the early 1990`s? (right before Saddam went into Kuwait)"

Apparently, the first Bush adminstration, when they said on national television that they would not intervean in the "border dispute between Iraq and Kuwait." This was their origional position, and was given by prominite captured Iraqi generals as their main justification for going to war. They posed such a threat to the rest of the world that they wouldn`t have attacked if they knew the rest of the world woul

I wonder how many thought the same thing back in the early 1990`s? (right before Saddam went into Kuwait)
