Great. 1000 years.
Time it took to use up 1/3rd of the total oil on the planet: 50 years.
Time it will take to use up the other 2/3rds: Another 50 years or so.

Just 950 years of no energy then. Seriously IAB. Math and Wiki, Wiki and math. Learn to use the two and I won't even post anything anymore.

Well in 1,000 years we will have alternative energy.

Hopefully.

Yeah, I'm all for drilling everywhere we can, but we have to admit that eventually it will run out, and when it does we better have some other reliable forms of energy or we`re in a lot of trouble.

There's still deeper oil, and oil in places we havent drilled yet. I`ve read where there`s enough oil in ANWAR to last 1000 years.

Drill baby drill?
