Zombiemike - I think you'll find all games have "graphics" as you put it.
Have you even played it? Or for more than five minutes? Sounds to me as though you haven`t. Having completed it myself there`s far more to the game that side scrolling and platforming.
I won`t even bother argue with you about the MGS4 just being ok comment. Having finished it several times to unlock a lot of the equipment and with your lack of actual reasons why it`s just "ok", leading me to think you probably haven`t, or if you have you again mustn`t have gone for five minutes, I don`t really see the point.

"littlebigplanet, a side scrolling platformer with graphics.... woohoo." A side-scrolling platformer where you can create pretty much anything you like. Believe me, it's much more complicated than simple platforming.

Why isn't Spore on this list?
Just kidding :)
Anyway littlebigplanet should be number one, two or three. Seriously, number 10? Just because it isn`t horribly violent it doesn`t mean it`s not the best game of the year.
"The list was ALL console games? FAIL. Don`t even talk about graphics if you`re playing on a console."
I hate people like this. Seriously, if you think you`re superior because you spent £1250 on a PC because you thought you`d get better graphics than those "dirty console gamers", take a look at the PS3. It costs less, doesn`t need new hardware every 3 months to keep up with the latest games and it costs under £300. And furthermore, it can handle not only the highest graphics in games today, but the highest in games in the future.
Thus my fanboyish rant is over and I have confirmed my status as a life-long virgin.

I'm not even going to bother looking, judging by the comments here. Inaccurate lists are the most irritating things on the internet, besides /b/tards and trolls.

The fact Fallout 3 is higher up than LittleBIGPlanet and Metal Gear Solid 4 has made me take this a little less seriously. Fallout 3 isn't bad, but come on. Two games that did more gameplay wise and added something fresh over other games and previous installments below a game that isn`t any different to the Developers other games. Dead Space also does far more interesting things, and again is lower. Surprised Far Cry 2 isn`t there either. That also has a huge world with a lot of detail.
Grand Theft Auto IV also wasn`t terrible, but in terms of actually having fun I`ll always choose Saint`s Row 2.
I`m glad Left 4 Dead is there though, and at 1. I love that game. Multiplayer in that is a ton of fun.
Gears of War 2 definitely shouldn`t though. ~_~ It`s the same as the first game. And that wasn`t even good.
there`s nothing "fresh" about either of those games. littlebigplanet, a side scrolling platformer with graphics.... woohoo. and MGS4 was ok at best.
