Isn't it safe to say the war between Apple and PC is over? It seems to me that less and less people have brand loyalty anymore. I know people that have iPhones and use Vista. Mac users who run Office. It seems to be that you ought to choose the product you think is most viable for your situation without bias towards the company that made it.

As usual, well atleast people are starting to learn. Almost no one in the creative field uses them anymore (im talking high end cg/effects/compositing/rendering, not playing with pshop vector brushes. their hardware is ooold, like 4 years old. the UI is driver lacking. hardware programs are impossible to install [flame for example, aswell as physics hardware for dynamics processing] the networking is 3rd party cheap hardware. O and the RAm is generic. The list can go on forever, its one big scam.

i only have 1 apple product, which is the ipod its not a touch or anything, juust an 80 gig ipod. i need something to hold my music, and the ipod is easy to use, durable, and has lots of memory.
but for computers, PC are the way to go. Mac has some advantages(id say about 3), but PC is actually usable. and i dont feel like a douche when using one
