Matt33, the point is not just being able to understand each other, it's about speaking proper(ish) english (on a side note, it is actually sometimes difficult to make out what is being said when people type lyk dis). It`s mainly negative for the actual poster though because it gives them a bad habit and makes them look simple. But that brings out the self-righteous grammar/spelling nazis (who I dislike more) and it just creates unecessary arguments. If people just used the same language and spelling it would make everything so much easier.
And the yellow neighbour...I`m fairly sure it was just due to unfortunate lighting.
Unfortunately it`s too late to stop the battle between the super-moral snobs and the internet tough guys. If everyone were actually as nice as they tried to make themselves out to be the world would be a lot better than it is at the moment. Suicide is selfish? No, posting on a damned internet forum is selfish.
