If the kid was seriously disabled and could never do anything for himself, then it would be a little more justified. However, he can "attend a normal school and play sports including cricket and football." It sounds as if he's only mildly retarded, and wouldn`t be as much of a drain on taxpayers as his father is a benefit to the country.

you make downs syndrome sound like a cold. a doctor bringing a downs child into the world is being selfish. he's put his desire of having a child in front of the child itself. a life of dependency, perhaps loveless and shortened life to fulfill a personal need is obnoxious coming from a doctor no less. the world doesn`t need more stupid people. we`ve had enough.
