@sajo They actually had several skippys, all were male. The National Park where they shot the show was a tourist attraction, and they had the skippys in enclosures, you could go and see them. And they were absolutely vicious bastards. Some of the actors were injured several times during production, and one of them (Ken James, I think) was actually hurt pretty bad once and required hospital treatment. I saw the last living skippy at the park back in the 70s.
