I have to go with Ruswut on this. Imagine being in your teens and getting raped. Yea raped. Your telling me the kid should keep it? Don't tell me you can put them in a foster home. There`s a poo load of kids in there already who need to be helped. Imagine growing up as a child and realising(sp) you were basically a nice big mistake. I`d say abortion should be allowed for certain situations like that. Think about when animals are suffering and we put them down so they won`t suffer. Would you want more kids like that suffering around the world?

one question, is it or is it not ok to murder? it isnt right? what do you think abortion is? MURDER. its simple, M-U-R-D-E-R you are KILLING a baby, its not called aboriton its called MURDER. and where in the consititution does it say its ok to murder innocent children? no where. i rest my case

Completely wrong, bud. I fully appreciate the improbability of being born, let alone the improbability of life even existing. Probably more so than you. I'm not suggesting life and conception is trivial, I just happen to believe that the ability to end a pregnancy should be a legal option for mothers in our day and age. The alternative is more horrible.
A lot of pro-life people seem to be having some moral issue with the actual killing and are making that their main argument. I don`t particularly enjoy that fetuses are terminated, either, but I don`t have to in order to be pro-choice. If a woman feels compelled to end a pregnancy, it`s her body! Who are you to impose a moral sanction on their being?

Just to clear up a misconception, the heart starts beating abotu 21 days after conception, not 12 weeks.

You have a better chance at winning the lottery every day for the rest of your life, than you did at being born. The fact that you are even here and reading this is mind boggling. Life is so rare and so precious, that it should be protected at all costs.
People have lost all respect for what is precious, and assume that an individual is just another human. You are not just another human. You are unique, and you have value because you exist. No one should have the right to remove that value.
