American prisons suck. We pussy-foot around killing the people that need to die and we don't devote enough resources to the ones that can be fixed.

So what would your solution be to a difficult problem? Lock him up for the rest of his life for taking the lives of two college students after brutally raping them? Or get him "therapy" and after its complete release him back into society?

He is using a bullpoo excuse in trying to prolong the inevitable thats going to be administered by the state, or someone else. I personally wouldn't mind if he were to be drowned in water or burned alive for his crimes.

Put yourself in the victims parent`s shoes. You think their going to let the rapist get off scotch free because he is "not in his right mind"?
The piece of poo should be CONTENT, that he got to live another 22 years, half the lifetim

In my opinion someone like that doesn't deserve a quick painless death anyways. It kind of pisses me off that he obviously shows no signs of guilt or remorse, otherwise I`d say screw the death penalty. That would be too easy of a way for him to get out of this life. Now that I`ve seen some of the other opinions, I like the idea of letting him starve to skinny first. Then maybe still accidentally forget the anesthesia. eh. oh well.
