A rodent-like creature with a dinosaur beak washed up by a government animal testing lab, near NYC in Long Island. Yikes

I think it's a bloated dead raccoon based on the teeth from it`s lower jaw.

i just watched a vid on CNN about this, they interviewed the lifeguard from the beach. Him and his friends have the carcass (its just chillin in their backyard, kind of gross) but they say they are going to try to get an expert to examine it.

And why are people saying raccoon? I can see where they might get that from but raccoons don’t have beaks with serrated teeth..?

Let me get this straight. Strange creature washes up on shore. Various people bear witness to it's existence. Someone snaps a photograph but there is NEVER a body found? No one calls animal control? Alright. So... then shouldn`t the body still be there?
I think, someone photoshopped the thing, has `l33t` skills in doing so. Brings it to the beach pub and shows it off. A bunch of drunks decide to make up a story about how they found the "photographed" animal and voila. Done.
