If you search online for it, you find a lot of scams.
You may have ridden in something you *thought* was a water-powered car, like the Genepax one.
If it worked, someone would be able to explain how.
No-one can.
Because it doesn't work.
I think scamming people is *not* a good idea. So I explain why.
Bashing? Rubbish. I`m just not falling for an obvious scam.
I`m listening if you have any explanation as to (a) how it could possibly work and (b) why on earth someone eho invented a device to produce large amounts of electricity from seawater, or anything watery, without any pollution would be trying to sell it to car companies rather than becoming an international hero and the richest person in the world by selling it as a power station.
I`m listening. You can support your argument or continue jeering at people who think. Your choice.

I think you guys need to do your research, water powered cars work -I have ridden in one. I would tell you guys where to find the information, but you are probably too busy bashing good ides to freakin' google it. And IMO if you aren`t willing to put in that amount of time, you deserve to pay 4 bucks a gallon at the pump. Happy bashing folks.

You've confused two completely different (but equally implausible) claims.
One is that you can use water to make an additive to your existing engine to reduce your fuel consumption to a quarter (not by a quarter - you misread that too).
The other is that you can have an engine powered by water.
The man in question was going to test the first claim. With one engine. Not two. He knows that it doesn`t work. He`s doing it in a probably futile attempt to prevent gullible people being conned.

"cmanatlan: I also read the badly written section detailing the ludicrous claims made by people selling stuff to anyone gullible enough to buy it. However, I didn't mistake it for a statement of fact, as you did, in part because I read the whole article, including the paragraph after the paragraph you read, and in part because I have a basic understanding on what`s involved and therefore know that it`s impossible. You can reduce petrol consumption to a quarter, but only by fitting an extra engine of another type."
Why don`t we wait until he builds the engine before saying it only reduces consumption by a quarter. Also I very well understood that both engines would be in the car and that you still need gasoline as well as water.
