Apple’s 3G iPhone Hits Stores: Worth the Wait?. On my way into work, I saw the Apple store with a line 3 blocks long. And that`s with all those known software glitches.

I like how they say that they activate them in the store to be more helpful but really they're doing it so people can`t ship them over sea`s where they are worth more money. And so that you can`t just unlock them and use them with a different company.

I could have gotten an iPhone, but since the iPhone still has bugs, I decided to get the iPod Touch, since everything from the iPhone that doesn't require a phone service or satillite connection, gets ported over to the touch, and a phone with great reviews, which ended up being the BlackBerry Curve.

@decoratedbox, awwwww. That sucks. I figured since it was a new phone and all, they would've changed some security features and crap to make it "uncrackable" again.

Wow. You people sure do bitch and moan a whole lot about tech.
How 'bout some appreciation for the good stuff in the world, huh? People have new phones, regardless of whether they work quite like they should right freaking now or not. Lighten up and be happy for people other than yourselves, you smug bastards.
All you need to do is backup the data on your system and and boot through your Ubuntu CD. Then format the drive that contains Vista and you are done. You can do the same thing if you have a bootable XP installation. I recently upgraded my laptop to good old Windows XP from Vista.
