The cheapest jet you can get that is single passenger is about 240,00 USD and burns about 600 dollars or more just in fuel an hour. The cheapest passenger jet like a citation etc even old and used would start at 2,000,000 USD. The world of aviation is not cheap.

cs3gallery Male, 18-29, Western US 6 Posts	Monday, July 7, 2008 12:19:13 AM Well, for a little clarity on all this, I am a pilot, I have been in the aviation world all my life, so I can give you the specs on everything. The planes they fly are known as EXTRAS's. They have 2 turbo chargers on them which does not give it more speed. At different elevations the air becomes thinner. Since how engines need air, in order not to lose the power they use the chargers. All the actual speed and power come from the engine itself aka horsepower and the fuel they put in. The fuel is 100 octane with led in it to help keep the engine cool. These guys pull up to 10 g`s which they have to have extreme bodies and workouts to handle it. Fighter pilots would pass out in that. The reason why they do not use jet powered planes is because the engines are to heavy and they produce to much thrust to make quick turns like that. Prices also very on many different planes. Any new plane like a cessna 182 would cost you about 400,000 USD. Older planes earlier than 1980 sell for about 90,000
