To be completely honest- if I were in that situation as a citizen in the same room, I would have had NO idea what to do or even what to expect given that it's a mental hospital. I probably would have assumed that the woman was just dratin` mental. On the other hand, I am not a doctor nor a professional of any kind. x.x They should have known what to do.

$ MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL!!... More people should follow the Good Samritan law ,then something like this would had never happened espeacilally in a hospital. Also that guy from the hit and run; terrilble way to go. The people who wittnessed did absolutely nothing to help. Terrible... There should be more Good Samaritans in society.

llsn : you seem to me to be a far worse waste of space than this poor woman ever was. I can't help hoping that one day you will be in need of some sympathy and help, and that someone will simply look disdainfully at you and say that you deserve to be dead. Undoubtedly you are too perfect and useful to the world to ever imagine being vulnerable or in need of help. Btw you say you`re a christian? Interesting, i need to revise my gospels and see where the bit about leaving ill people to die is.
