Quik2TheStab: Of course, you're absolutely right in saying it`s painting, because it uses paint. But art is about distinctions, and in fact, LIFE in about distinctions. Norman Rockwell, Piet Mondrian, Vincent Van Gogh, and Jackson Pollock all used oil paint on canvas, but their works are completely distinct from one another. Graffitti uses completely different tools, a completely different "canvas", and adds the social element of criminality as well! I don`t think it`s out of line to call grafitti it`s own art form.
