was anyone else disappointed when he said that he cant go back in time past when the machine was made? i mean the whole point was for him to go back and see his dad and now he cant... :(

Read my posts, page 2,4, and 5 I think, It should clear some confusion. Taking the time to do so shouldn't be a big deal since all of you guys are bored anyways.

so i might not be smart enough to understand the actual sci. behind it, but no matter what happens with a time machine, even if you could go back in time, you'll never be able to change the current time. because if u go back in time and change something, it would have already been changed when u experienced it the first time. you just didnt realize it the first time around
