Logic at it's finest. I am a gun owning believer in personal freedom. I guess that excludes me from the republican and democrat camps ;-P . I also have a little over three hundred novels on my bookshelf all of which I have read. Very few of them are festivals of violence story wise and in fact many of them are frankly non violend. Oh and did I mention the college education. Oddly enough though I own guns, live in the american south, eat pork like it`s going out of style and I am kind of fond of living away from major population areas where crime is rampant and people are crammed in like spam in a can. For the most part I dont say yeehaw and yes being a father I do intend to teach my little girl how to handle all sorts of weapons and defense techniques. SO MMMMEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!! Eat it.

I am a liberal gun-owner (shocking, I know) with an IQ of approximately 142. Letting a child fire off a Browning M30 is not going to breed hate. Your kind of narcissistic, sheltered, Oh-so-superior, attitude will however. Teaching a child to shoot is not a terrible thing, it's a bonding moment. You don`t just let a kid have at it, spewing .33 cal shells at everything that moves. You instruct them, and bond. Hate begets hate. Love begets love. Which of the two do you want?
