so to all those poeple saying they need therapy, or they need to grow think about now how immature and the teachings they are getting but think about what will be on their top minds wanting a toy at the store or thinking about how to plan their new sex change ( do you really think a child that dont want a sex change would really care)

To all the poeple saying that these kids just need to go to therapy until they are old enough

what kind of life would that be going to a person telling you "ok so how do you feel about that" all the damn time, i dont think im another gender but i have been to therapy on my anger problems and poo like that and it pisses you off even more

so what 3 4 5 6 and so on year old want to sit down with a stranger another adult tell them they have a problem when all that kid wants is what they want

the child wont be making any of that up they know what the want when they want it, and if the kid didnt think they wernt another gender they wouldnt even think or know twice about a sex change they wouldnt really care that isnt on their top list of things to do in life

but if a child feels like they are in the wrong sking then yeah they are going to talk about it,

a child that isnt they reall wont give a dam

3R1N - you are female (unless you accidentally clicked the wrong one :P )
Would you prefer to be male or female? If they found out that you had a hormonal problem and were becoming male, would you seek medical help to stop it?

I am guessing that you would say that whatever, you wouldn't want to change. You would want to stay who you are; as female.

I want to have a male body in the same way you wouldn`t. I am male in the same way that you are female.

I don't think transgenderism is wrong, but i don`t understand it.
The gender roles don`t exist anymore, so you could be a feminine man, or a really macho woman.
But then if its just how they physically look, isnt isn`t it just that you are attracted to the opposite gender?
I really cant my head around why someone would want to be a different gender.

(true story)
A mother came home one day to find her 12 year old son in the kitchen, holding a knife above his penis saying "I'm gonna cut it off". This was how bad the problems for him and gone.
His mother decided to take him to the USA where you could pay for a sex change (here in england i think its mainly NHS but hard to get as you cant just pay for it to happen).

I think the line is drawn on how much stress it deals to the child. However strong you are, some things that happen to one child may be vastly worse than another child could imagine. It would be like saying that an epileptic child was weak for having fits with neon lights.

I`m not sure myself on the age hormonal treatments should be given. I`d say it depended on the child`s maturity rather than a given age. But hormone blockers would be good as all they do is allow the child to reach an age where their opinions are more reliable.
