what it is is that there is a thing membrane around the yolk.. you all know its there cuz its what holds it together when you fry them...when you try to hard boil an egg in the microwave heat builds in the yolk, creating steam, the steam builds up in this membrane and now held in by the cooked egg white.. the change in temperature made the egg white contract and KABOOM!!!! one of the first things they teach in a food cooking class is.. IF YOU NUKE AN EGG POKE A HOLE IN THE FREKING YOLK YOU MORON!!!
