Wha...? The poll specifically asked about suicide bombings against civilians. The 26% figure comes from those who believed it was ever justified.

And apparently the book you linked to has no sources listed in the appendix, so it would be very difficult if not impossible to verify or debunk anything inside it.

On top of that, remember when I said 7%? Yours says 8%. the only way it's 26% is if you discount all women period, and all men over 30.

Which is the figure most outlets decided to focus on.

So is it a lie? Not exactly.
