resisting arrest = criminal charge assaulting a police officer = one-year prison sentence using a weapon against a police officer (hitting him with the gun) = another criminal charge and one-year prison sentence now was it worth it?

If you read my comment, the cop was legally assaulting the guy, would you be ok with a nurse arresting you right now unlawfully?

"Profiling?" That's complete crap. If anything happens to a black fellow, it`s "racist". Whites get tazered just as much as anyone else. It just doesn`t get recognized, because the person is white. This was justified. The guy was talking back, getting all offended because he was too important for a speeding ticket. Anyone else see him swing at the officer? That wasn`t a reflex. If that happened in the NFL, he`d be called on it. Cops are just doing their jobs. Attacking a cop is no different than attacking a nurse or a librarian.
3 things that will make life easier. 1) Don`t argue with cops. 2) You probably deserve it. Everything is documented on video. 3) Just accept the stupid ticket or arrest. If it`s unjust, fight it in court, not on the street.
