uhm... question... wasn't the bible created way back when when people didn`t know jack about the world? ________________ Try reading it sometimes before you make pointless conclusions. It`s not all about the world, but some parts just tellings of what happened at the time.
Wow, I`m surprised this turned into a debate on religion.

Creationsism and Intelligent Design are not science. These people already have a conclussion and are looking for ways to verify it. That's the exact opposite of the scientific method. It`s reverse forensics. Go ahead and teach creationsim...but do it in a philosophy class. BrainBits - Tomato Sauce and Meatballs? Are you sure you`re a fundamentalist and not a Pastafarian (Flying Spaghetti Monster)?

Honestly, I would perfectly fine with teaching multiple theories of creation in classrooms.
It takes as much faith to believe in evolution as it does to believe in intelligent design. Most individuals have no idea why they believe evolution; they simply trust that scientists know better than them, and then scoff at the "religious nuts" who are also putting faith into a higher authority.
Also, before simply arguing that believers in ID have no idea what they are talking about, I suggest actually doing a bit of research into the topic.
Lastly, I would like to point out that ID is not the most important controversy in our country. However the world was created, it's here now. I would focus more attention on what happens after you die...that`s the thing you can control, and need to seriously consider.
