To me, this is simple and inspiring... As humans its all about the lose , it's all about the angst... To the dog however it`s `about ... "LEmme play with that bone" and "O Thanks for being proud of me, and I love you too!!!! " I`ll try hard cuz you asked me... It is a beautiful story that Lucky shares with us... Thank you so much... I cry everytime I watch it....

God, put the dog down. This is cruel. Sure it's all very inspiring but honestly if the dog could talk i`m pretty sure he wouldn`t be too psyched about being a cripple for the rest of his life.

Lucky has a very apt name... he's lucky he wasn`t my dog...
Vet: "I`m very sorry to tell you that your dog has a very serious injury."
Me: "Gosh, that doesn`t sound good."
Vet: "Well, it`s not good at all. Your animal may never walk again. I`d like to recommend a treatment regime that could offer some hope though. With several months of intensive, and expensive therapy, I`m pretty sure your pet will recover up to 50% of its mobility."
Me: Wow, technology is a wonderful thing. Um, how much money are we talking about here?"
Vet: (insert here a dollar amount that exceeds ludicrous - you know something that would make Bill Gates say "How much?", you know something realistic for this type of treatment)
Me: Ok then. Say, you wouldn`t happen to have a rain barrel around would you? Or a blunt object of some kind?
Vet: Yeah, we get a lot of that. The rain barrel`s out back.
