The issue was never if his abilities would be useful on the battlefield. He is an athlete. He has an extraordinary ability, and he uses it to entertain people and win competitions. I don't care how fast you may think you are, if you went up against Munden within pistol range, you would lose, and lose hard. The mere fact that you carry a .50AE (most likely a Desert Eagle) is a strong indication that you know very little about firearms. Everyone I know who is new to shooting drools over DE`s because they see them on TV. The .50AE pistols are large, heavy, and have a very limited capacity. There is no reason to carry one other than to try to impress people.

BFLH,the reason i have that draw time is cause my .50 is a backup, usually resting with its holster with the safety on,or was anyways in my old job,not to mention its a might bit heavier than that revolver and for all his trick shooting, its a bit outdated in modern warfare where he´d simply be shot from 400 yards nowhere in range of a target to use his revolver on,in the end the modern and well trained soldier will always win against the skilled old ones. And i must agree, that rate of fire can only be achieved by a revolver with single action capability,a auto such as my .50 needs its recoil to cycle the slide and chamber a new cartridge, the revolver just needs its cylinder rotated, which happens as quickly as you can pull the hammer back
