And what you don`t realize is that the censorship functionality of this forum does *not* predate me. When I first joined up here, there was no censorship. However, now it`s here, and it is foolishly over-sensitive.
There`s a general concept behind censorship on the internet, where it is not mandated or required. That general concept is that a site either has, or does not have, mature content. If it does, then posts are not censored. If it does not, then it is considered apropos to make certain that the user submitted content is similarly clean. When the content of a site is mature (and I`m not referring to pornography, here, I`m simply talking about anything that is inappropriate for children), and the user submissions are censored by a bot, it makes for a ridiculous aren
