Nice coincidence - I was just reading a few minutes ago that quality is everything when it comes to eating massive quantities without feeling sick, both for eggs and beef. In Tuscany, there's a dish that is 5-6 pounds of steak, 6 inches thick, crusted with all sorts of herbs, and if you have a great butcher purportedly it`s not painful to eat the whole thing in one sitting. As for eggs, I once had a job in which one of the supervisors lived out in the country and had some chickens. He`d bring in fresh eggs to us, and they were NOTHING like what I could buy in the supermarket. I mean, good food tastes SO different from what`s considered normal food these days that it really stretches the imagination to name them the same things. The range of quality is that wide.
On a different subject, I really enjoy articles about "the world`s biggest (name food product here)" so if anyone finds them I`d enjoy seeing them on IAB.
