I think this clip is great! I was brought up a christian, but my parents never took me to church. I just went on my own. Children can make their own decisions with religion, and I'm sure this kid has some input on doing this even if he didn`t beg to do the whole thing, I`m sure he was exited about it. I understand where a lot of the scientific facts come from, and I definetly respect the fact that people look into those things, I just believe that the information is mistaken. Also, someone earlier said if the world were all athiests it would be a better place, I think it would be better if the world were all of a peaceful religion. If people who aren`t christians and people who are but don`t act like it would just live according to the bible, the world would be a lot better. Yeah, to the thing about the family on 20/20 or whatever, that is too far. Nice reconstruction of the conversation at the end, made me laugh. Thanks horn for sticking up for the minority of this board!

Maybe your all wrong and religion is just something people made up to make them feel safe. Primitive people were afraid of the unknown so saying "Oh, those big flashes of light randomly through out the sky (lightning bolts incase you did catch on) are from gods hands." makes them feel better than saying "DUDE, WTF WAS THAT!!!" just my opinion on the matter, dont bash me cause its diffrent than yours.

I know its hard to tell from the video but Im sure those are religious pamphlets hes hold with money in them. The "free money" being the ploy for people to take one and listen. Also "with out any influence from the parents" Im sure was a sarcastic remark As for the religious debate in here all I got to say is keep praying for them amputees. They'll regenerate those limbs with out the help of satanic science for sure cause God loves them am I right?

catbarf - i apologize for my lack of patience in my last post. i was just frustrated because when i stated that you failed to answer my questions, you were quick to dismiss my ideas and make the assumption that 'i have no idea what im talking about,` instead of actually examining you answers and realizing why they are invalid. i apologize for my rudeness. but please, email me so i can explain everything.

catbarf - i'm sorry, we don`t seem to be on the same page, and i don`t think we are going to get anywhere. no offense, but i look at the 13-17 age on your profile, and that would explain why you are not understanding where i`m coming from. did you really say that scientists have created life in a lab? wow. i could explain myself more, but it obviously wouldn`t get us anywhere. however, if you want to have an honest, mature discussion i would be more than willing if you would email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
bekll - the way i understand it you are saying that my problem isn`t with evolution, but about how the first life came about. and you are right, because....it is alot to post here. would you be uncomfortable with sending me an email so we could discuss this through that? horn4231@Hsutx.edu
