I think my favorite part is that neither the video nor the IAB post spell "lightning" correctly. The IAB post says "lightening" and the video itself is titled "Struck by lighting". I love it! Gotta watch out for those lamps!

sorry to say, but its not current. its extremely high voltage that is being grounded out. it is thousands of volts that can make anything conduct, amps is only the amount of current flowing, not the charge. but it would probably have some decent current through it maybe.
