They were at the time the equal 2nd biggest ship in the world, 2nd to QM2. Now they'd be number 3 because the Freedom of teh seas was released last year. The photos don`t really do it justice. Especially the promenade deck. It`s like a street or mall in the middle of the ship, with glass ceilings 5 or 6 decks above the paved `street`, lined with shops. They are massive ships. You realise how long when you walk from one end to the other along the crew corridor, nicknamed the I95.
