the chance of the genetic problem being passed on is 0 if it came from the father
instead of the girl giving birth to a daughter with 50% of her DNA she will give birth to a daughter with between 0-50% of her DNA, depending on the egg.
the effect of this is: the baby will share a greater % of its genes with the grandmother. the baby will probably share a lesser % of its genes with its mother. the baby will not be genetically related to one of her grandfathers.
the biological grandfather is separated from the grandmother anyway
this would mean a greater biological bond with the birthmother than adoption / anonymous eggs
people give birth to their sisters children frequently (even happened on friends i think)while this situation is different, it is not dissimilar.
*** AND ALL THAT DOESNT MATTER ATALL IF THE DAUGHTER CHOOSES TO NOT HAVE KIDS/ADOPT/TAKE ANONYMOUS EGGS
- to a couple of people above: this is in canada, not england we didnt come from 2 peopl

i've always believed that "genetic disformations" such as downs, hymathrodyte(sp?) etc are to do with the relation of the parents. what i mean is that there could be two people who are related somehow (maybe centuries down the family tree) and they have a baby together.
wel basically what im sayin is that i think this same thing is gonna happen if the girl does use her mothers eggs.
