At 30 frame per second, that means 6n rotation per second, so 360n rotation per minute. ratio (rpm/fps) = 360n/30 = 12n. Therefore the ratio must be a multiple of 12. For a 24 fps it would be: 4.8n rotation per sec; 288n rotation per minute; 288n/24 = 12n. So from that, we see that for 'x` blades, the ration RPM/FPS must be a mulitple 60/x and not 1/x. There you go :) This is my first visit here, this site is awesome.
